the new happenings.
Our dear friends Lee and Carmen were expecting a little bundle of joy, and drove down for photos at the end of July. I am posting them now because that little bundle was born today! So, so happy for you guys, and I cannot wait to meet (and get my camera on) little Nina. Congratulations to you both, and I’m praying for rest and recovery for you all.
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the Hartmans last month. Natalie, a friend-of-a-friend, contacted me to do her family’s photos and asked if we could do them at her mom’s house. Turns out mom’s house has about 450 windows which means great natural light. I asked if I could rent it out for future sessions. 
Look at this family how gorgeous! I had a great time getting to know them.

At the end of November, I got to do an extended family photo for my dear friend Whitney’s family. There were 14 of them in all – Whitney’s parents, her kids, and her two sisters’ families. I got so many I liked, I’m breaking them up into two or three posts. First up – the Takubo family. These are some high-energy kids, but they listened perfectly.
