My husband’s grandparents property is just lovely. And they still have the original structure that they lived in decades ago on their property for storage. I absolutely love it, and was able to head out last week to take a few photos while the light was just gorgeous. I’m sharing my favorite of the house, along with a study of the window. Check out the rocks lined up in the bottom corner. I wonder how long those have been there.

My mother-in-law has about three different planters full of these hens and chicks, and I just loved the texture of them. So I converted it to a high-contrast black and white, had it printed on this really cool metallic paper, and hung it in my bathroom. But I didn’t want my houseguests to be the only people to enjoy it. So I turned it into desktop backgrounds for you to enjoy, if you happen to like it as much as I do.
To make the image your desktop background, click on the links below for the image size you want to use on your computer. The image will open in a new window. You can either drag the image onto your desktop and set it as your wallpaper manually, or right-click on the image and choose “Set as desktop background.”
