Erin & Chris

Posted in Photography at 2:21 am by Kelli

This past weekend, I was able to shoot my first Christmas-themed wedding, and it was just lovely. So I wanted to share some of my favorite moments. The first is a getting-ready photo.

They had decorated the gym (yes, the gym!) of the church with tons of icicle lights, and it looked fantastic.

This is one of those rare wedding cakes that tastes as good as it looks. ( I know because the same lady made my wedding cake. Mmmm.)

And the cutting-of-the-cake shot. Love the lighting in this one.

My favorite of the bride. She wanted some photos outside on the steps. It was cold. Like, COLD. But I’m so glad she did it.

Here the bridesmaids are watching her walk down the aisle.

I loved how Chirstmas-y the church was decorated.

Funniest part of the wedding: Father of the groom stands when the pastor asked who gave the blessing for the groom to be married. He says, “My mother and I do.”

The bride bought the groom his wedding band for their wedding present (he thought he was getting a very plain and simple band). So I wanted to be sure to get a good shot of those. I love the color of these roses.

And finally, one of the happy couple. Notice the bride has her grandparents wedding set tied to her bouquet. Those are the details you don’t want to forget!

Curt & Katelyn – Snowy Farm Pictures!

Posted in Photography at 7:05 pm by Kelli

I’m a little behind on blogging – but I guess it’s good I have so much to keep me busy, right?

Just over a week ago I headed out to a local farm to do Curt and Katelyn’s engagement session. They are the first wedding I’ve booked for 2009 (so excited) and are just terribly cute. The weather was just beautiful (although a little cold). Enjoy.

Little Cowboy

I got to do a family Christmas session last week for the cutest little cowboy – and let me tell you, he is the real deal! After the standard front-of-the-tree shots, he rode a bucking bronco (his rocking horse) and gave me a concert. What more could a gal want?
