Piggy Tails
This week, I noticed Sydney’s hair was long enough for pig tails, so I tried it out. What, I ask you, is cuter than a little girl in pig tails? Answer: Not much.

If you’re happy & you know it…
I think Sydney’s missing Mason this week, while he’s at Nana and Poppy’s for a few days. So I try to keep her happy by singing her favorite song. Here she is, happy and clapping. And in the bottom picture she’s…well…just looking especially cute. Enjoy!

Music Man
Mason loves to play with this harmonica that was Evan’s when he was a kid. He really gets into it. (Click on the picture to view larger.)

While Sydney napped this morning, I was busy putting together a sponge cake for tonight. Of course after the whipped cream was all…whipped, I gave Mason the beater to enjoy. And enjoy it he did.

S is for Salamander
This evening, Evan was working in the backyard preparing for this weekend’s project, and the kids and I were playing on the swingset. Evan found a salamander, which Mason (reluctantly, finally) touched, and Sydney patted.

Blowin’ Bubbles
This evening, Mason was excited to be blowing bubbles.

He did get a bit distracted by an airplane once…

But got right back to puffing.

Then was worn out, so he had to rest in the hammock.

Airplane!
On Saturday, I found Mason lying in the floor playing Airplane with the baby doll. I got out my camera just in time to see her fly…then crash…haha.

Tandem Bicycle
While the kids were playing in the yard today, I caught them riding the bike together. Probably not what Lil’ Tykes had in mind when they constructed said bicycle, but it seemed to work ok. Look at that expression on Sydney’s face!

And I made pepperoni rolls for lunch. Mason really, really liked them. (Instructions are here: Shameless plug.

May Play
Nothing special today. Just some cute shots of the kids playing around in this beautiful weather.
Also, if you’re interested, I started a new blog site to chronicle my hobbies. (You know, reading, writing, baking, crafting, around-the-house stuff). If you’re interested, check it out: Simple Modern Life.

(I) Want a Snack!
“Want a snack.” – Mason says this phrase probably 10 times a day. I don’t give in every time, but I figure as long as the boy is eating most of his meals, and some of these snacks consist of fruits and veggies, what’s the big deal? So I snapped a couple pics of him enjoying snack #1 this morning.
