The Cupcake and the Plane
For Halloween, the kids went back and forth a few times on what they wanted to be. Sydney started out wanting to be broccoli (it’s green – her favorite color), then I suggested a cupcake, then she decided on an owl, then went back to the cupcake. Mason wanted to be his train again, until the week before and settled on a plane. Since Halloween he’s decided he wants to be a pilot. Go figure.
The boy.
Since Mason hadn’t gotten much photo attention lately, I made him come outside just before the sun went over the hill this evening. He was giggly, so I got a few cute ones. (Click on the photos to see them larger.)

Keeping Warm
Well, look at this. I have a blog for pictures of my kids. I nearly forgot. (sigh)
It’s gotten cold, and we’re just doing our best to keep warm. Vacation is coming up soon, so we’ll keep warm down south. Until then…

Last night while Mason was doing something in the garage with Evan, I was out on the porch with Sydney. The kids both have a cold, and neither were feeling quite themselves, but I was still able to catch a couple photos of Sydney blowing bubbles and generally looking cute. Evan took Mason outside because everything was purple, and I – of course- grabbed my camera. Click the photo for a larger view. (The haziness is from condensation on my lens…but I liked it.)

I made Sydney a skirt! It was my first piece of clothing for her that wasn’t a total disaster, and she loves it. I snapped a few photos of her wearing it the other day. (Click on any of the photos to see them larger.)
I was able to get one of this cheeser:
And my new favorite photo of the two of them.

Evan has some sort of magic touch – he can get either kid to fall asleep in no time! I’m jealous. Proof: Mason asleep on the couch with him this week.

Hook, Line & Sinker
Yesterday we took the kids fishing at our friends pond, again. This time my camera and I were able to tag along. Despite evidence to the contrary, Sydney does have more than one pullover.
There were so many photos, I’m sharing them in a gallery this time – enjoy!

Headshots!
I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I am not holding out on you – I just am not taking many pictures. But I did get these about a week and a half ago…in case you forgot what they look like.
