Sydney turned five months old yesterday. Can we slow down the clock, please?

Fascinating
I put Sydney in the bouncer to play, and she was fascinated by the frog. Then I took her picture, and she was fascinated by the flash. If only my life were so fascinating!

I didn’t comb down Sydney’s hair before she went to bed last night, and this is what we ended up with this morning. At least it has some body, right?

Here is Mason watching, “Bob…Hat-uh” (Bob the Builder) for approximately two minutes before he gets bored with it. This is how my no-TV-during-infancy strategy paid off…now I can’t get him to watch it for more than five minutes. Which may be good for him. Not so much for me.

The Arkansans
The kids had a BIG weekend. Mason went swimming, got his first haircut (which I have no photos from – try taking photos while distracting a 17-month-old during a haircut). AND, best of all, they got to meet their great-grandparents Carter from Arkansas. They came up to visit the entire weekend, and spent lots of quality time with the kids.
